A. Description:
The PassAssured’s Aseptic Calculations Continuing Education course
is available with 14 contact hours or 1.4 CEU credits once successfully
completed. This CE is web based and provides the convenience of a self paced
study and no restrictive classrooms to attend! The Aseptic Calculation CE is
internet delivered, accessed by using an easy to use, student selected
username and password log-on mechanism. This CE course uses graphic
illustrations to show how pharmacy math problems are set up and solved.
There are different methods reviewed for solving the same equations.
Fractions, decimals, measured units, conversions and Roman Numerals are few
of the topics studied. The student simply logs-on to access all necessary
multimedia content and exams. The exams are randomly generated interactive
tests with question response feedback for ease of learning or reinforcement
of data learned. When the student successfully completes the web based
course, a CE Certificate is immediately printable. The certificate may be
printed or stored within the PassAssured’s system for later retrieval. The
course may be used by Certified Pharmacy Technicians or Pharmacists. This
course is ACPE accredited through the Texas Pharmacy Association.
